Up Next: Bond of Passion by Larissa Ione

Man, I love a good werewolf story, and this one was no exception. Larissa Ione did another fantastic job with Bond of Passion, and brought back a previous character that I was so excited to see again, Whine. Previously, he was the fallen angel Harvester’s slave, but she had transferred the bond to Jillian, Reseph’s mate. Jillian gave Whine back his birth name, Tracker, and did her best to make him comfortable with his new home and duties. It was so nice to see Tracker being able to (mostly) make his own decisions and start to recover from the trauma of being a slave since his literal birth.

Stacey, a new DART member and Jillian’s best friend, gets caught in a blizzard near Jillian’s house that ends up getting her into a car accident. She manages to make it back to Jillian’s house, but passes out in the snow. Tracker finds her and they have to spend a few days trapped inside until the storm stops and Tracker can dig them out. That’s right, folks, forced proximity. We love to see it. With mutual attraction and nothing to do but drink, eat, and hang out, of course the romance blooms and things get pretty spicy pretty quickly.

As far as the characters go, I liked both Tracker and Stacey. Tracker is a complete sweetie and Stacey is casually bad ass in Tracker’s defense. Harvester makes a return and she’s as bitchy and catty as ever, but we love her for it, and Jillian and Reseph never fail to crack me up. The ending was soooo satisfying, but I won’t spoil all that. This book offered plenty of spice, comedy, bad-assery, and was just a hit in general.
